Our brand-new brewery & smokehouse is due to open in March 2022 in Morisset.
Located 111 kilometres north of Sydney and 45 kilometres south west of Newcastle, Morisset has been identified as a key economic growth area within the Lake Macquarie region.
Who are you?
We're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable brewer with the experience to hit the ground running. You have the skills and confidence to work independently, but also love to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Your approach to good beer and consistency mirrors our own with a strong commitment to quality control.
What's the gig?
A small team means you'll be working across all areas of the brewery including:
- Wort production on a 20hL brewhouse.
- Cellar work incl. CIP, fermentation and yeast management, dry hopping and filtration
- Packaging including keg filling and operation of our canning line.
- Raw material and inventory tracking
- Occasional representation of the brewery at events & festivals etc.
Key requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a production brewery
- Physically fit: able to work safely and professionally in a manual environment
- Valid Australian Forklift License/RSA certificate an advantage
- Accurate & diligent record keeping and experience with a leading brewing software
- The right to work permanently in Australia
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Science background and/or brewing qualification looked upon favorably
