JOB DESCRIPTION: Head of Sales

Are you someone with craft beer sales management experience seeking an exciting new opportunity to help grow a business and build your own team?

Jervis Bay Brewing is about to launch on the next phase of an already exciting journey.

With gold medals flowing for their beers, and a new production site coming online next month, the only way is up for this exciting South Coast NSW Brewery

We are just over two years young, and have quickly established ourselves as a favourite of locals and beer fans alike. Locally owned and operated, we believe that beer is about sharing the good stuff in life, with a key focus on community support, sustainability and of course having a good time.

Due to continued growth and success, Jervis Bay Brewing are now seeking the expertise of an experienced Sales Manager to create new opportunities and build a team around themselves to celebrate the wins and increase market share.

This newly created role will be critical to the future success of this business, and will be reporting directly to the General Manager. With a diverse range of skills required the successful person will have the opportunity to build processes and culture from the ground up. 

It will be a hybrid role to start, entailing top-line strategy development and management, along with client-facing sales capacity, focusing on key strategic accounts inc; on-premise and banner groups. As things ramp up, you'll quickly be required to build a team of reps around you to allow you to focus on the strategic growth plans. The role will work closely with our head brewer, and marketing team.

The team have developed good relationships with established customers and a reputation for being reliable and good to work with, so it is important to us for the candidate to be friendly, a good communicator, unwaveringly motivated, able to work autonomously and a strategic thinker with the ability to prioritise. 

Ideally, you will have at least three years of sales experience within the craft beer industry at Field Sales Manager, key or state account level. You will be passionate about building brands and a team around you to work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for the business and its customers. This is an excellent opportunity to directly influence the culture, drive growth and development of this very exciting craft brewery brand on the rise. Strong negotiation and relationship skills along with previous experience with managing pricing strategies, budgets and P&L’s are also required. 

The role whilst predominately being based on the South Coast of NSW, it will also require travel across the state to maintain strong relationships with our customers, grow territories and support the development of the small sales team. We are happy to consider various flexible working arrangements.

Vehicle and phone allowance, along with laptop will be provided.
