JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWERY TOUR GUIDE / CASUAL HOSPO ALL ROUNDER!!
Moon Dog World in Preston is looking for a fun & outgoing individual to run brewery tours and tastings!! The tour guide will also be able to pick up shifts behind the bar or on the floor to supplement tour income!
While having a bit of beer and brewing knowledge to hit the ground running would be ideal, we'll give you all the training you need. The most important things to bring to the table are a love of beer & seltzer, confidence and a knack for spinning a yarn!!
We will give you the general outline however you'll have the scope to make the brewery tour your own, some people like to get a bit technical, some focus more on Moon Dogs history, others on the history of beer itself.
Tours and tastings will run for around an hour on Thursday nights and Saturday days with a view to do more as we ramp up into summer. Private tours will also come into play in the near future. The ideal candidate will be available for 3-4 shifts per week from Thursday to Sunday (but we can be flexible) with potential for more hours in the future.
This is such a rad opportunity for someone who's looking for a bit of a change up from the normal hospo job. Moon Dog is Victoria’s largest independent brewery so there's lots of room to grow within the business, if that's what you're into! Or just make some cash, have a laugh and learn about beer!
