Posted November 16, 2022

This posting is more than 1 year old

Stone & Wood were born in Byron Bay but for some years, the bulk of their production has been in Murwillumbah.

If you'd like to join the production team there, they're hiring.

Job Description: Brewer – Murwillumbah Production

Through the support of our local communities, Stone & Wood has continued to grow, distributing good beer both nationally and internationally into the hands of our drinkers.

Our aim is to add value to this amazing industry and one of the ways we can do that is by giving the beer lovers, the creative and the inventive the opportunity to join us in using beer as a force for good.

What are we looking for?

To maintain our momentum, we are looking for a new team member to join our crew at our Murwillumbah production site.

We’re on the hunt for someone who’s no strange to brewing, or with experience in food production who’s looking to join the brewing industry.

What’s on offer?

This is a full-time shift-based role (4 days on, 4 days off) based at our Murwillumbah Brewery. We have a competitive salary and loading package, however we also love looking after our people and offer a wide range of benefits beyond salary. This includes 12 weeks paid parental leave, additional annual leave, lots of chances to socialise– and yes – free beer! We’d love to tell you more about all the other benefits we have on offer, and we can chat through this more at interview time.

Stone & Wood is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our employees and anyone who looks to join us.

What to do?

Check out our website and get some insight into what makes us tick.

Then shoot us through a cover letter and resume that includes:

  • Why you’d make a great member of the Stone & Wood team
  • Which beers are tickling your interest at the moment?
  • What you love about making beer!

Maybe you’re local or maybe 2023 is the year for a tree change, either way, we want to hear from you! Apply before November 30, and please bear with us as we move through this recruitment during the start of the festive season.
