JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER
We are on the hunt for a brewer to join our expanding team down in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula!
With the growth of our brewing facility, we are after a passionate go-getter to work within our tight knit brewing team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Production of wort and all aspects of beer production.
- Cellar duties
- Raw materials handling
- Packaging with operation of CODI canning line and keg filling
- Performing all work safely, reporting any risks, hazards, or incidents to management
- Uphold cleaning and maintenance schedules for all brewing areas and equipment
- Representing the business in the venue and at local events, Act as an ambassador for Jetty Road Brewery
Experience Required:
- At least some experience in a commercial brewery is preferred
- Experience in any food or beverage manufacturing considered
Minimum Skills Required:
- A passion for beer and an understanding of the brewing and packaging processes
- Canning line experience is highly regarded
- Driver’s license, RSA, and forklift license (certification available through the company) or a willingness to obtain same in a short period of time.
- Mentally sharp and physically fit with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A team player, with an open and inclusive mindset
- Able to perform basic maintenance on equipment.
- Highly organised, diligent, and responsible, able to multi-task, prioritise and self-manage.
- Understanding and respect for Workplace Health and Safety legislation and safe work practices, particularly in commercial brewery environments
- You must have permanent work rights in Australia to apply for this role.
