4 Pines are ending 2022 with a flurry of job openings at venues around the country.
They're looking to take on a head brewer for their Darling Harbour brewpub, as well as hiring a brewer in Melbourne and venue manager on the Gold Coast.

We know that our beers are only as great as our people, so to keep us elevating our game we’re on the look-out for a like-minded and experienced Head Brewer to join our ranks and head up our Brewpub at our partnership venue, The Sporting Globe x 4 Pines at King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour. This is a senior role within the 4 Pines brewing team and a great opportunity for a highly motivated brewer to take that next step in their career with the support of a talented and experienced team.
As part of this role, you will be an integral part of brewing our core range beers as well as creating some of our Limited Release range - those unique beers that the locals have come to know and love us for. You'll be taking the reins of a 10hL brewpub in all aspects of operations with a focus on producing quality beers.

What’s your role going to look like?
- Managing and operating our 10hL Microbrewery in the heart of Darling Harbour
- Designing exceptional beers and appropriate brewing schedules for The Sporting Globe x 4 Pines taproom and local customers
- Engaging and collaborating with NPD Manager to ensure conformance to specifications and standards
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and on-site hospitality staff
- Championing Continuous Improvement across safety, quality and sustainability
- Planning and execution of our internal excellence program
- Ongoing reporting of key Brewery metrics to ensure alignment with KPIs and forecasts
- Guarantee the respect of HACCP standards
What skills will you likely need?
- A love for beer – tasting it, talking about it, designing it, creating it
- Recognised technical brewing qualifications are highly regarded
- 3-5 years experience in brewing with knowledge of recipe development and a flair for creativity
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently as part of a wider team
- Demonstrated aptitude for coordinating production in a brewing environment
- Experience in fostering positive relationships with key external stakeholders – suppliers, customers, and hospitality staff
- Good knowledge of Brewery safety systems
