Prancing Pony's Adelaide Hills home is one of the most colourful brewery venues in Australia, a venue where guests can sample from 16 taps, enjoy a hearty feed, and take part in events throughout the year.
Running such a venue takes many hands, however, and the team is looking to add a few more with spots up for grabs in the kitchen and front of house.
JOB DESCRIPTION: FOH & Kitchen Personnel
Prancing Pony Brewery is an award-winning, independent brewery located in the Adelaide Hills. We are dedicated to delivering outstanding and friendly service and a great culinary experience to all our guests.
Our Adelaide Hills venue provides an Industrial tourism experience where visitors can get close to the beer making process while enjoying food and drinks and live music on weekends. The brewshed is a community-embedded, family-friendly and welcoming place and a much-loved destination for locals and visitors alike.
We are open seven days a week and serve wholesome food with a focus on regional ingredients and we match food to beers to create flavour experiences.

Skills and experiences:
The most important skills for these positions are initiative, leadership, and pride in providing excellent service.
For the kitchen, we are looking for:
- Support to our Head and Sous Chef to run an efficient kitchen, creating new menus and supporting more junior staff members.
- Proficient in all aspects of kitchen operations and a love for beer/food matching.
- Excellent communications skills and preferably formal qualifications in Cookery.
For the FOH, we are looking for:
- Team-work oriented, goal focused with a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain a high level of service delivery in a busy environment.
- Excellent attention to details.
- Thorough, organised, professional and punctual.
- Familiar with POS operation, highly skilled in food and bar service.
- Must be able to work on weekends.
Attributes:
Both positions are casual or permanent part-time positions with up to 20 hours per week, including weekends.
