Job Description: Sydney Sale's Rep
Hawke’s Brewing is seeking an experienced, self-driven sales rep to join its fast-growing, proudly independent, award-winning Aussie beer company. Every beer you sell will help support Hawke’s partnership with Landcare Australia, to which Bob donated all of his royalties as co-founder.
Our core range of brews consists of Hawke’s Lager (AIBA Trophy Winner and #58 GABS Hottest 100), Patio Pale (AIBA Gold Medal and #27 GABS Hottest 100), Underdog Session Lager (Indies Gold Medal), XPA (AIBA Gold Medal) and Half XPA (Indies Gold Medal). And with our world-class brewery in full production mode, we are well placed to deliver additional core and limited release varieties.
As our sales champion in Sydney’s CBD, eastern and northern suburbs, your main focus will be to build distribution and volume in the off premise channel. The role includes building distribution, developing in-store activity, managing tastings, delivering staff training sessions and running events. We’re small but growing quickly, so there will also be opportunities to have your say in broader business strategy and other areas where you can grow with us.
We’re looking for someone proactive, results-focused and of course, bloody likeable (just like Bob). Ideally, you’ll have experience in off premise alcohol sales with a positive attitude and ‘customer first’ approach to help you build long-lasting customer mateships. Beer sales experience is an obvious advantage.
We’re offering a competitive base salary, car allowance and performance-related bonus. Remuneration is commensurate with experience. We’ll also work with you to provide opportunities to grow and develop your career at Hawke’s. A current drivers’ licence and appropriate roadworthy vehicle, as well as a relevant local RSA certification will be required.

Hawke’s Brewing Co. was founded by two mates who had a dream of building an independent Aussie beer company with former Australian Prime Minister, the late Bob Hawke. Bob not only gave the boys a crack but also generously passed on all his royalties to allow the company to support a charity partnership with environmental NPO, Landcare Australia. In just over six years, Hawke’s Brewing Co. has raised more than $450,000 for Landcare Australia, while brewing some delicious, award-winning beer along the way. We run operations out of our brewery in Marrickville, Sydney, with the aim to one day get a cold Hawke’s in the hands of punters in all parts of Australia.
