Job Description: Assistant Brewer/Distiller

We’ve invented the best job in the world of hospitality and production with heaps of creativity thrown in.

Located in Noosa, this award winning first craft brewery and distillery is on the hunt for an Assistant Brewer/Distiller.

You’ll learn how to craft the perfect beverage from the first stages of production, through to sales pitches to customer and service across the bar. This could very well be the job you have been waiting for. The only brewery/distillery and restaurant under the one roof on the Sunshine Coast. Privately owned, independent sustainable and reinvigorating the booze market.

What you’ll need to do:

1. Assist with the distillation of our spirits and brewing of our beers.
2. Must be a jack of all trades.
3. Must have experience in either brewing or distilling.
4. Maintaining the immaculate cleanliness and presentation of the production area and stills 
5. Bottling, canning and labelling chief 
6. Being an informative and energetic with sales pitches to potential customers 
7. Assist in developing our bartenders into living legends of all things alcoholic

  Skills are we looking for:

1. A beer and spirit nerd – we want someone who absolutely geeks out on everything about making quality beverages 
2. An entertaining storyteller – we expect a lot of people will want to pass by or you will drop in, and we want them to remember their experience not just for the quality of beverages we produce, but because our team is on point.
3. Experience in warehousing and record keeping – we’re not going to lie, this job is not all about the fame and the glory of pulling off the ultimate beverage, it requires serious organisation.
4. Blending experience – whether you worked in a winery, a brewery, distillery, or a bakery – if you have blended flavours and are good at it, we want to know 
5. Able to perform heavy lifting, constant movement throughout the day, frequently climbing stairs/ladders and capable of wearing appropriate PPE
