Job Description: Casual Duty Manager
Are you passionate about craft beer, exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming environment?
We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic Casual Duty Managers to join our small, close-knit team at Shapeshifter Brewing Co. With multiple positions available, this is your chance to become part of a brewery that values collaboration, attention to detail, and memorable customer experiences.
About the Role
As a Casual Duty Manager, you’ll take the lead during shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering an outstanding experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Previous hospitality experience is highly desirable, but not maniditory, but you do need a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
RSA is mandatory, RP badge is encouraged and Cicerone qualifications are highly considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep front-of-house areas clean and organized.
- Assist in restocking and managing inventory, including our takeaway products.
- Support the team during busy periods and prioritize tasks as they arise.

- Strong communication and leadership skills—you listen, motivate, and lead by example.
- High attention to detail and an ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive “let’s get it done” attitude.
