Job Description: Brewer
Be a part of our Brewing Team! Brew our delicious beers and use your flair and passion to create seasonals or the next core range beer.
You will need to maintain and execute all functions according to policy and procedure, safety requirements, and best practice. Tasks include—but are not limited to—all aspects of raw materials handling, packaging cans and kegs, wort production, and cellar handling.
Applicants with professional brewing experience are preferred. This is a full time, permanent position based in Denmark, Western Australia.
Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Self-manage time and be able to work independently
- Wort production and brewhouse operation
- Cellar tasks including beer transfers and fermentation management
- Packaging cans, bottles, and kegs
- Tank and equipment cleaning
- Follow recipes and procedures
- Creation of new beer recipes
- Stock management
- Participation in beer festivals and other events
Job Requirements:
- Previous brewing experience preferred
- Attention to detail
- A knowledge of beer practices
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Current drivers license and forklift license preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting kegs and grain bags.
- Climb stairs, ramps, and ladders.
- Work in small and confined spaces.
- Work safely with chemicals with reasonable safety accommodations.
- Work in loud environment with basic safety accommodations.
