Job Description: Sales and Marketing Specialist
Otherside Brewing Co is an award-winning, West Australian brewery. Born in Fremantle and raised in live music and arts, everything we do is aimed to promote and support the creative industries in WA.
Our business is comprised of the Otherside Brewery and several hospitality venues across Perth, including the Otherside Brewhouse, Otherside of Nowhere, Otherside Brew Lounge, and live music venue Freo.Social.
We're on the hunt for someone to join our band - a creative, energetic, and enthusiastic beer fan - to help us drive sales, engage audiences, and keep us moving forward.
About The Role
The Sales and Marketing Specialist will support our production team, venue and experiential teams, and the General Manager with sales administration, operations, product development, communications, and community management.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Sales:
- Purchase Orders, Invoices, and internal sales orders (MYOB)
- Collaboration with Otherside's Third Party Distributor (Grape & Grain), Group venues & partnerships, and logistics providers
- Various reporting and planning
Otherside Online:
- Full oversight of Otherside Online store (Shopify)
- Freight coordination (Sendl)
Product Management:
- Packaging and label design & production
- Ownership of limited release products, including scheduling, production quantity, packaging, tracking, briefing, and design & asset support
- Full oversight of Otherside merchandise, including design briefing, outputs, production, and inventory
General Marketing:
- Coordinate brand EDMs, including Tycoons, Th3 Social Club, Otherside Online
- Support General Manager in creative rollout for promotions, trade collateral, printed materials, and venue materials
- Ownership of onboarding Tycoon members, including information collection, welcome pack creation & distribution, Tycoon bricks, and benefits
- Supporting roll out of brand-led events and activations across Otherside properties, as required
General Office Administration Support:
- Answering the main phone line at Otherside Brewing Co, taking messages and emailing enquiries/requests to appropriate staff, as required
- Document storage within Microsoft 365
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a consumer marketing or sales administration role
- Experience with MYOB Account Right or other account / inventory management software
- Proven history with B2C marketing communications
- High level project and time management skills
- High level communication and copywriting skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Willingness to obtain RSA Certification
- Experience with ad agency or creative briefing is a bonus
- Experience with beer and/or hospitality industry is a bonus
