Hargreaves Hill is a proudly independent brewery dedicated to crafting high-quality, innovative beers that showcase our passion for the craft. Based in the Yarra Valley, we take inspiration from our surroundings to produce a diverse range of beers, from classic styles to bold, modern brews. We’re opening a Taproom in our brewery soon, and we’re looking to expand our brewing team.
We’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Brewer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong brewing background who wants to be part of a creative and quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all aspects of the brewing process, from wort production to packaging
- Monitor fermentation, yeast management, and quality control
- Maintain accurate production records and adhere to brewery protocols
- Work collaboratively to develop new and seasonal beers
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
- Uphold high standards of safety and hygiene in line with industry regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in commercial brewing (1–2 years preferred, but will consider all solid applications)
- Strong understanding of brewing processes, equipment, and quality control
- A hands-on, problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
- Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Physical ability to lift kegs and bags of malt (up to 25kg)
- A passion for craft beer and a willingness to contribute ideas
