Since kicking things off in 2013, Brisbane's Green Beacon has gone from strength to strength, including opening a second production facility to deal with demand. Now they need a new Assistant Brewer to keep things moving, with an immediate start available.
JOB DESCRIPTION: ASSISTANT BREWER - QUEENSLAND
Green Beacon Brewing Co is expanding and we need an experienced Assistant Brewer to take to our new production facility. We are looking for someone to start immediately, working at the current brewery in Teneriffe until the new facility is up and running in early 2017.
What you will be doing:
Assisting with all brewing duties including:
- Milling
- Wort production
- Cellaring duties
- Quality control
- Canning
- Kegging
- Cleaning
- Warehousing tasks
What we want from you:
- Minimum 18 months experience in a similar role.
- Great work ethic.
- Flexible work hours with occasional weekend work required.
- Good practical knowledge of the brewing process and associated tasks.
- Previous experience with a Cask Canning Line or similar is highly regarded.
- Fork Lift License will be beneficial
