Burleigh Brewing is showing no signs of slowing, having moved to a larger brewery site, with plenty of medals to its name, and almost certainly more to come. Further your craft beer career by joining their cellar team and learn all you can about the marriage of malt, hops, water and yeast.

JOB DESCRIPTION: CELLAR TEAM - QUEENSLAND

Burleigh Brewing's cellar team members play a vital role in achieving our overall quality production standards – we are looking for someone who is committed to fulfilling the varied duties which may include:

  • Fermentation monitoring / management (familiarity with centrifuge an advantage)
  • Tank cleaning and process cleaning and preparation
  • Beer transfers
  • CIP processes
  • Titration, gravities, pH measurements
  • General cellar cleaning (tank exteriors, floors etc) and equipment care and maintenance
  • Filtration
  • Chemical handling
  • Basic lab work
  • Yeast handling and yeast health management
  • Record keeping

The ideal candidate will be able to show proven experience in a brewing or similar environment in as many of the listed duty areas as possible. You will also be a great communicator who genuinely enjoys working as a cooperative member of a team.

Shifts will fall between 6am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday, with a weekly rotation of early and late start times.

You must qualify residentially to work in Australia and be available to start in early 2017 at the latest.
