Lion recently launched a new arm within its beer business focused on its smaller brewing brands, the likes of Panhead, Byron Bay Brewery and the recently opened Eumundi Brewery.

Now they're after a brand manager to join the team at Malt Shovel's home in Camperdown.

JOB DESCRIPTION: BRAND MANAGER (SYDNEY)

Malt Shovel is a new business powered by Lion. We love making great beers in our little breweries (Panhead, Eumundi, Byron Bay Brewery, Malt Shovel Brewery and more) and sharing what we love with more people. On offer is a creative and entrepreneurial Brand Manager to join our passionate Malt Shovel team on a permanent basis, located on site at our Camperdown brewery.

This exciting role is one where you will launch and grow new and existing craft brands in a way that is unique and special to the Malt Shovel ethos. You will be a hands on brand builder with an innovative mindset, and who will thrive in an ambiguous and evolving environment. Your creative flair will see you make our vision become real.

  • Loves telling a story in a way that connects people with our beers

  • Is hands on and has the energy to keep growing our brands outside of the normal work day

  • A strong track record in brand management, bringing new brands to life from scratch
  • Experience working with new products and innovation
  • Good business acumen, planning & organisational skills
