Hemingway's operates two brewpubs in Far North Queensland, one in Port Douglas and another in Cairns.
The waterfront venues are the main spots you'll find the brewery's beers, but plans are afoot to get more of them into the wider world. To do that, the brewery is looking to hire a Cairns-based sales representative.
Job Description: Sales Representative
Hemingway’s Brewery is a local, independent craft brewery operating in Far North Queensland producing a range of outstanding craft beers. Our breweries are onsite at our waterfront gastro-brewpubs in two stunning locations of Port Douglas and Cairns. Hemingway's is the first of its kind in Far North Queensland and offers a relaxed vibe where you can enjoy handcrafted beers suited to the tropical climate, matched with an extensive locally inspired menu.
Our high quality brewing equipment has the scale to produce over one million litres of craft beer per annum and we are continuing to identify opportunities to grow our brewery business locally, nationally and internationally.

With a highly qualified group of brewers and hospitality professionals, we now seek an enthusiastic Sales Lead who is passionate about craft beer and has the drive and experience to take our beers and our brand to the next level in Far North Queensland and beyond.
Role:
- Generate new customers
- Build relationships with on and off premise trade
- Daily sales calls
- Meet KPIs for sales and distribution
- Promotional activity such as in store tasting sessions and customer training
- Representing Hemingway's at beer events and festivals
- Raising brand awareness
Relevant experience:
- High level of knowledge and passion for craft beer
- Strong sales experience, preferably in the liquor industry
- Highly proficient communication skills
- Current Australian driver's licence
Remuneration will provide an attractive incentive scheme on top of a base salary.
