At Modus we take our beer seriously but ourselves lightly, we’re a bunch of larikens at heart that like having a good time. For us one of the biggest responsibilities is delivering fresh cold beers to our loyal customers and supporters, they trust us to deliver our award-winning beers on time, every time. That’s where you come in.
We run our own cold stored beer distribution from our Brewery operation in Mona Vale and you’ll be the driver in and around Sydney and surrounds.
The ideal candidate will be in charge of delivering our fresh, sometimes super limited beers to a mix of set ups both cans and kegs. You’ll need to be physically fit, we adhere to healthy work practices but lugging kegs ain’t for the faint hearted. The job requires admin and route planning to make sure the supply chain ticks along smoothly but overall the focus is getting our beers to the right people at the right time with the right paperwork! A good IT knowledge is helpful as you will be going into your emails to grab orders from Sales and printing them out according to your delivery schedule.
There will be times where we’ll need you to jump into the brewery, at festivals or get amongst it when it’s all hands on deck with Brewery duties, so you will need your RSA.
Stand out candidates will have a can-do attitude. A full clean Australian Driving Licence, enjoy conversations about hop profiles but enjoy time on the road, working alone. An up to date forklift licence is essential.
Hours: get into the brewery early based on the day ahead, hopefully beating traffic and get back as soon as your deliveries are done.
Salary to be negotiated based on experience.
