They're looking for an assistant brewer and here's what you need to know about the role.
JOB DESCRIPTION: ASSISTANT BREWER
Located in Brisbane’s iconic West End, Brisbane Brewing Co is currently recruiting for an Assistant Brewer. The role is full time and includes plenty of hands on tasks, heavy lifting, cleaning etc; all the usual elements of a role such as this. However, you’ll be working in a small team so there will be plenty of opportunity to work closely with the Head Brewer and learn a lot about beer and brewing.
Brisbane Brewing Co primarily supplies two busy Brisbane venues with a range of 8-12 draft beers, a new canning program and an exciting barrel-age program.
As the successful candidate, you will have a genuine love of beer, you’ll potentially have some experience (commercial/industrial) in the craft beer industry, and above all else, you’ll have an excellent work ethic. And relevant studies you have completed in biology/chemistry, or any plans you may have to do so in the future, will hold you in excellent stead for the role.
Please note: a current manual driver’s licence is essential.
Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 (depending on experience)
