Job Description: Brewer
Located on the beautiful Sunny Coast, our fast growing brewery is looking for another brewer to join our production team. We need an extra set of experienced hands to help us keep up with the ever growing demand for our beer whilst maintaining our high standards of quality, safety and good manufacturing processes.
At Your Mates, one of our commandments is that ‘we froth what we do’, the successful candidate will have a true love for beer and the process of production.
This job can be physically demanding and candidates will be trained in all areas of safe practices and procedure. The successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours as the brewing schedule requires and be able to work independently at times.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Wort Production on a 3 x vessel 2000L Brewhouse
- Cellaring Tasks (Dry Hopping, CIP, Tanks Transfers, Beer Analysis)
- Kegging (Cleaning & Filling)
- Sensory Analysis
- Cleaning and maintaining a clean and hygienic brewery
Must have
- Drivers Licence
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility to work varying hours
- Good communication skills
- Previous brewery experience or qualifications
Desirable
- Hold a current Forklift Licence
- Have previous brewery experience or qualifications
- Hold a Queensland RSA or RMLV certification
