Job Description: Head of Sales (entrepreneurial start-up opportunity)  

We are seeking our inaugural Head of Sales (and Ambassador) to join our leadership team and lead the resurgence of Australia’s original craft brewery alongside its founder and CEO.

This is a senior position suiting an experienced Beverage Industry professional with proven leadership and sales experience. 

The successful applicant will define and execute the commercial strategy across the Yarra Ranges, greater Metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria and nationally, in collaboration with our partners Carlton and United Breweries.

Relevant Experience & Attributes

  • Commercial sales leadership experience. 
  • Strong strategic planning skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional skills in influencing and negotiation. 
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise workload.
  • An intimate understanding and passion for beer and the industry. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to structure and organise own work outcomes. 
  • A resilient, tenacious, team player

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement the Sales Strategy to grow Matilda Bay in the Yarra Ranges & Victoria. 
  • Achieve new sales distribution and deliver to aggressive sales targets in the On and off Premise.
  • Maintain, drive, and expand territory & customer base.
  • Effectively manage trade spend investment. 
  • Develop and implement initiatives to drive performance in Matilda Bay partner outlets.
  • Support in setting up and attending Beer Festivals & Trade Events as and when required.
