Job Description: Front of House Duty Manager
Two Birds Brewing is Australia’s first female-owned brewing company, trailblazing our way into the record books by developing sophisticated, approachable beers that can be enjoyed with mates at a backyard BBQ or on the dinner table with your favourite meal. Located in Spotswood, ‘The Nest’ has become home to a state of the art brewery, bottling line, tasting room, meals and function facility.
Our tasting room at The Nest has been going strong for nearly seven years now and we still delight in sharing our passion for beer and food with our visitors in our sun-drenched brewery space. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced hospitality manager to join our crew looking after all the daily operations of the tasting room we call home!
This is a special role for someone who shares our values, loves beer, understands the importance of great experiences for our drinkers and wants to be part of a growing team!
Key responsibilities include:
- Day to day operations, financials and management of venue
- Responsible service of alcohol
- Staffing levels and shift patterns
- Stock levels and ordering
- Operation of brewery tours
- Ensuring the bar & kitchen are run to high-quality standards
- Keeping the vibes high and giving our drinkers and visitors an amazing experience
The right person will have:
- Experience in providing an engaging beer focused experience
- Previous hospitality management experience
- Have exceptional people and customer service skills
- A thorough understanding of the beer industry
- A current VIC RSA
- Flexibility to work across 5 days per week including weekends
