Job Description: Sales Manager - Victoria
Founded in Mona Vale, on the sunny Northern Beaches of Sydney, we live by the simple M.O: beer first. no shortcuts. We take this approach all the way through to the sales and marketing of our beer.
Modus has been recognized by our peers winning multiple beer awards and has a reputation for quality in everything we do. Our beers are all packaged onsite, cold-stored and are made up of an award-winning core range of tins. Our leading national limited release program keeps our range fresh and seasonal whilst pushing brewing boundaries. Our range of products has recently expanded to include NORT Refreshing Ale and Saintly Seltzer.
With a second site opening this year in Newcastle NSW + the onboarding of 2 new brands within our range there's never been a better time to hop aboard. Being a growing business our team have a hands-on, can-do attitude which is an important attribute in the successful applicant. A background in liquor sales & account management is an advantage.
The successful applicant will be Melbourne based and come from a background in liquor sales. You need to be outgoing, relationship-minded and have demonstrable ties to your local community. You will be responsible for the sale of keg & packaged beer into bottle shops, restaurants, cafes, clubs, hotels and bars. This role deliberately offers a modest base salary with an industry-leading commission structure. You will be given a company car and a phone. There is huge potential for career advancement in a business that is independently owned and has a strong track record.
We have an opportunity for an experienced, outgoing and dedicated liquor industry salesperson. You will be part of a truly independent, creative and diverse team. On a day-to-day basis, you'll be driving sales, opening new accounts, unlocking supply opportunities whilst spreading the good word on all things Modus in both on and off-premise venues.
The successful applicant is needed to facilitate the next stage of our growth plan. As we welcome NORT and SAINTLY into our range you will need to be highly organised and possess a positive attitude with a versatile set of skills. You will take responsibility for the sale and brand promotion of all MO products into all trade channels.
