Job Description: Packaging Line Operator
The Grifter Brewing Co in the heart of Sydney’s brew hub of the Inner West, is looking for a full-time Packaging Line Operator to join their small but passionate team of beer enthusiasts.
With nine years in the industry, you’ll join an exciting and progressive production team that brew interesting and quality-focused beer.
You will be welcomed into a fast-paced production environment, based in Marrickville.
Knowledge of beer production and operating machinery is required.
Main tasks/duties and responsibilities include:
- Operating a CODI depalletiser, canning line and case packing equipment.
- Overseeing specific quality control around packaging
- Running a basic equipment maintenance program
- Managing stock of packaging consumables
- General warehousing using a forklift
- Assisting in other production-related areas of the brewery
- Problem-solving with respect to operational efficiency, quality assurance and cost considerations
Skills and qualifications required:
- Forklift License (Essential)
- RSA License (Can attain before start date)
- First Aid Certificate (Preferred but not essential)
