Job Description: Technical / R&D Brewer
Mash Brewing are offering an exciting opportunity for a technical / R&D Brewer. We're an award-winning brewery located in the popular Swan Valley in Perth WA.
This position is perfect for someone that is looking to lead a team of brewers producing award-winning craft beer. The ideal applicant will be an experienced craft brewer looking to expand into a senior role and lead from experience in developing, brewing and planning our range of beer and ciders.
Reporting directly to the Director of Mash, you will be involved in all aspects of the brewing process including recipe development, sourcing raw materials, training, brewing, filtration and packaging.
To be considered for this position you must have:
- Be passionate about craft beer
- A ‘Can Do’ attitude
- Willing to work in all facets of beer production
- Good sense of humour
- Great attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent personal, organisation and time management skills
- Strong communication, leadership and people skills
- You must be able to work autonomously and in a team
- Demonstrated experience is essential
Requirements:
- At least two years commercial brewing or demonstrated thorough understanding of the brewing process, including packaging, or relevant qualifications.
- Full Drivers Licence
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Mechanically minded
This is a permanent, full-time role, typically a nine-day fortnight Monday - Friday with occasional requirements for weekend work.
