Job Description: Brewer’s Assistant

All Inn Brewing Co is one of Australia’s most vibrant independent craft breweries.  Located in Banyo, on the northside of Brisbane, our brewery is home to a vast community of craft beer lovers.

We are a small and passionate team who produce an eclectic mix of fascinating and unusual beers alongside our core range staples. Due to increased demand, we are on the hunt for a brewery assistant to join our team.

This role is a casual role, but you can expect to potentially be working up to 40 hours a week. There are excellent opportunities for career progression.

What’s involved:

  • Cleaning
  • Assisting the Brewers to produce quality wort and beer
  • Packaging
  • Performing all work safely, reporting any risks, hazards or incidents to management;
  • Maintaining and cleaning equipment and designated work areas
  • Adhering to brewing schedules and performing work to production deadlines;
  • Completing all necessary documentation, compliance checks, and record-keeping;

Minimum Skills Required:

  • A passion for beer 
  • Practical problem solver with a hands-on “can do” attitude
  • A focus on the details – near enough is not good enough!
  • Fanatical about cleaning, sanitation, and quality control
  • Knowledge of Excel  
  • Self-motivated and ambitious, with a passion for learning 
  • A team player, with an open and inclusive mindset 
  • Organised, diligent and responsible, able to multi-task & prioritise
  • Manual driver’s license, RSA & forklift license or a willingness to obtain same in a short period of time
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Mentally sharp and physically fit
  • Understanding and respect for Workplace Health and Safety legislation and safe work practices, particularly in commercial brewery environments;
  • Competent in listening to, and following instructions with high attention to detail;
  • Positive, cooperative and communicative, with the ability to perform work independently and within a small team;
  • Flexibility with working hours
