Job Description: Sydney Sales Representative

About the role

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced salesperson to join our team. Working as part of our team of Territory Managers that are based in Sydney & Canberra and closely with our Sales Manager and Head of National Sales, your role will be to manage and grow our customer base and help to develop and deliver on key sales strategies within your territory. Your customer base will be predominantly located in the Sydney CBD, inner west and eastern suburbs, targeting and working with on-premise customers. The position involves face to face sales calls, account management, new business development, establishing mutually beneficial relationships with our customers and delivering on our growth targets.

Key Duties Include

  • Provide exceptional service to Capital customers
  • Conduct quality control of Capital beers
  • Build brand awareness and advocacy with accounts
  • New business acquisition
  • Support and execution of key national strategies
  • Execute strategic plans to achieve set sales targets
  • Identify new opportunities
  • Manage the relationship within accounts
  • Set objectives for each sales call
  • Event planning, coordination & execution
  • Represent Capital Brewing Co at industry and consumer events
  • Regular nights in trade will form part of your call schedule
  • Create and maintain an effective call cycle
  • Use and maintain information in CRM
  • Achieve set sales targets

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience business to business sales
  • Experience in new business acquisition 
  • Highly driven and self-motivated
  • Well organized, planned & highly skilled in time management
  • Commercial acumen & financially responsible decision making  
  • Ability to innovate and effectively communicate ideas
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to business development
  • Have a persuasive and credible presentation style
  • A collaborative approach to sales focused on mutually beneficial outcomes
  • High-level administration skill
  • Demonstrated experience achieving KPI's
  • Existing relationships in the on-premise channel will be highly regarded
