Stone & Wood's beers can be found far and wide but without a doubt, one of the best places to enjoy them is in their home of Byron Bay.

Job Description: Sales & Brand Development

Stone & Wood takes a fresh approach to brewing beer that's simply good to drink.  We are a leading Australian Independent Brewery, ingrained in our local communities, supporting the people who support us.

We’re looking for an experienced sales rep to look after our great customers and venues in our backyard, which includes the Byron Bay to Evans Head regions and heads all the way out to the Lismore and Casino area. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who thinks of customers first, communicates confidently and represents our brand in the simple, down to earth style we value so much. You will get lots of autonomy in this role, but also work very closely with and be an integral part of our local team. Representing Stone & Wood you will also sell across our other Fermentum brands, including Fixation Brewing Co., Sunly Seltzer and Granite Belt Cider Co.

We’d love to hear from you if you have strong pre-existing connections in the local community and come from a background that’s sales focused, in the FMCG industry preferably. Ideally, you’ll have solid beer knowledge and live in Byron Bay or surrounding areas. 

What will you get up to in this exciting role?

  • Delivering on regional sales plans, building territory plans and working closely with teammates on strategic priorities
  • Growing the brand in a competitive and dynamic marketplace - covering both new and existing customers
  • Showcasing our brand amongst the ever-growing beer community
  • Tastings and bar shouts
  • Coordinating brand activations
  • Participating in events and festivals
  • Beer education in the trade
  • And most importantly, supporting our customers

The important bits: you will be on the road while working with our products, so you must have to a full driver’s license, a current RSA and have full rights to work in Australia. This is a full-time role that will require flexibility around work hours including possible weekends, and we will provide you with all the tools of the trade you need.
