Young Henrys is one of Sydney's fastest growing microbreweries, one that has added cider and spirits to its offering along the way.

The team needs to get bigger – could you be the answer?

JOB DESCRIPTION: NSW PURVEYOR OF BOOZE

Young Henrys is looking for a guy or girl to become the next NSW Purveyor of Beer, Cider and Spirits, based in Sydney. So far our best performers have been bar/pub managers, event coordinators, a bass guitarist in a band, and even a dude who just bloody loved YH but was stuck in boring HR.

YOU MUST....

Be passionate about booze - Your job is to educate others and get them pumped about the booze we make - beer, cider and spirits. A solid knowledge of all or most of these products is super important.

Know the industry - we can teach you to sell YH the YH way, but the more you know about the scene the better chance you'll have of success.

Be keen to get amongst it - This gig is not a 9-5 M-F. You'll be doing most of your work during the traditional working week but in addition you'll be expected to get on the cans with punters from time to time.

Be able to run your own race AND work in a team - You need to be self-sufficient, self-motivating and be able to use your initiative. We're only a small team and you'll need to fit in with and work along side the rest of the YH crew.

Know your way around the hood - local knowledge is such a bonus in this role, and even better is having bunch of contacts that will soon become your customers.

Not be a dick - pretty self explanatory.

Have a current driver's licence - this job requires lots of driving so you must be pretty handy behind the wheel. To clarify, you need to be good at not going up the back of other cars, burnout skills aren't mandatory.

Have a good amount of tattoos or a solid beard... ha ha just kidding... you'll have six months of probation to grow beards or be tattooed... (may or may not be tax deductible)

If you think you fit the bill and keen to throw your hat in the ring, please shoot an email to dan@younghenrys.com and we’ll have a chat.

Applications close end of August 2015.
