Jervis Bay Brewing Co might not have been around long, but they're growing and expanding fast, with ambitious plans for the future.

If you'd like to help them tell their story and get their beers to more people, they're hiring their first brand ambassador for the NSW South Coast and the ACT.


JOB DESCRIPTION: BRAND AMBASSADOR

Passionate about good beer and good people?

One of the first breweries to open in the growing NSW South Coast beer scene, in 2019, Jervis Bay Brewing Co quickly became popular with the locals and is beginning to make waves further afield. So we are looking to bring on a key person to drive the next phase.

We have come a long way since opening – winning Gold Medals at the recent AIBAs, showing our faces at beer festivals in Canberra and the Far South Coast, and popping up in craft beer bars in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. But as we grow, we want to continue the focus on producing high quality beers, supporting our local community and environment, and also make sure we’re having some fun along the way. 

We are looking out for a Brand Ambassador to help drive growth in On and Off Premise, initially across the NSW South Coast and the ACT, then further afield. We are after someone who loves a laugh, good beer, great people and is passionate about Australian owned and operated businesses. At the end of the day, someone who we want to have a beer with.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone with previous experience selling beer, wine or spirits to bottleshops and bars, with a good list of contacts in the industry, but cultural fit will always take priority. Product knowledge, motivation and the right attitude can go a long way. So if you think you’ve got what it takes to get out on the road and sell, then we’d love to hear from you as well.

THE POSITION 

This position is an energetic role across a wide territory, that focuses on increasing sales and awareness in hospitality venues and retailers, growing relationships across the industry, identifying and creating opportunities for the JBBCo brand to grow.

Ideally you will have:

  • Superior knowledge and passion of craft beer as well as the hospitality industry 
  • Can identify opportunities and grow strategic relationships 
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Flexibility with working hours while working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities of the role may include:

  • Manage our current portfolio of customers within the On and Off Premise market
  • Grow our footprint in to new venues and outlets
  • Activate and host events/tastings both On and Off-Premise, including festivals.
  • Engage and grow relationships with key account groups. 
  • Support development of regional sales plan
  • Growing and maintaining relationships in the industry. 
  • Strategic thinking to increase distribution and visibility of Jervis Bay Brewing Co in a highly competitive market

This role will work alongside the Director – Business Development to stand up the sales framework and be joined within the coming year by a team of Ambassadors. A Business Development Manager Role will be implemented in the near future and would be a natural step up for the right person.

Hours of Work: Full-time position with flexibility to work outside of general working hours including weekends when required. Extensive travel will be required.
