We are looking for a skilled and dynamic brewer to join our team. The role requires a hands-on, hardworking, organised, energetic, team player who is ready to take on some key roles in our brewing and canning facility. Modus Operandi is a rapidly growing business and we're looking for somebody who demonstrates a passion for consistently brewing great beers with the experience and ability to multitask and juggle duties between the brewhouse, cellar, packaging and quality control. As an all-rounder, your demonstrated ability/aptitude will include but are not limited to:
DAY-TO-DAY BREWING OPERATIONS
- Brewhouse operation & wort production
- Cellar management & green beer processing
- Bright Beer management
- Packaging
- Quality Control & Process improvement
- Cleaning & Sanitation
- Stock Control & Ordering
- Routine Maintenance & coordination of trades persons when required
- Organised record keeping of brewing, cellar and packaging processes.
- Data entry & updating inventory management system
- Assisting with production scheduling & forecasting
- Assisting with logistics management
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Working on a biweekly rotating schedule
- Assisting with logistics management of in / outbound stock
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
BRAND ADVOCACY AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Supporting Modus Operandi at public events
- Open-mindedness and active contribution in all facets/departments of Modus Operandi. We are stoked about beer and sharing it with the world, you should be too!
EDUCATION
- Formal brewing or other relevant tertiary qualifications would be advantageous.
- Previous professional brewing experience IS A MUST!
- Forklift certification required.
