Stone & Wood is looking to add a draught beer quality coordinator to its team to ensure its beer is poured in top condition and also to train venues in the proper treatment and dispensation of draught beer

JOB DESCRIPTION: DRAUGHT BEER QUALITY COORDINATOR

After humble beginnings in 2008, our range of beers, led by our flagship Pacific Ale, have gained the attention of drinkers from one end of the country to the other, and have helped ignite a keen interest for independently owned Australian beer.

Stone & Wood now operates two breweries in the Northern Rivers of NSW to help meet growing demand. In the shadows of Mt Warning, the brewery in Murwillumbah has been scaled up to meet demand well into the future. Our original brewery in Byron Bay has been re-configured to allow space for a tasting room, whilst brewing a number of limited release and seasonal beers.

Stone & Wood brews beers that make the most of the ingredients that are available today, beers that are simply good to drink. With an obsession for quality there is a focus from grain to glass to ensure that draught beer is served to the drinker in the condition that the brewer intended.

To maintain our draught beer quality in the trade we are now looking to appoint a draught beer specialist to lead the coordination of the activities included in our draught beer programs.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with contractors to improve dispense system design
  • Liaison with contractors regarding system installations
  • In trade product sampling and assessment
  • Trade education and training
  • Managing the continued evolution of draught beer standards
  • Supporting the in field sales team to promote beer quality

This will be a full time role located in Brisbane however the role is primarily field based and therefore extensive travel will be required. So if you have experience in the required activities, have recognised technical expertise in the field, and want to be a part of a growing team with a strong culture, we want to hear from you.

Please send your resume and cover letter, explaining what you can bring to Stone & Wood, to jobs@stoneandwood.com.au
