Slipstream have recently expanded and upgraded their brewery and as a result, they have quite a bit more beer to sell. 

If you'd like to join the Brisbane brewers, they're hiring a part-time brand ambassador.


Job Description: BRAND AMBASSADOR

We are a small team of passionate people, producing some of the most accessible and sessionable craft beers in Australia. Our beers are brewed with nothing but pure flavour in mind, with our popular, award-winning core range line-up as well as a regular limited release program & exclusive small batch program for our venue.  

Slipstream Brewing is currently in a period of substantial growth & we have recently upgraded & expanded our brewing facilities. Last year, we opened our 250 seat bar & kitchen, which seamlessly connects customers to our brewery and we strive to create a great customer experience.  

We’re seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador to join our team. The Brand Ambassador will attend events on behalf of Slipstream Brewing where our beer is sold, including but not limited to festivals and community events and be responsible for championing our beer at our venue and assist in providing a great customer experience to visitors of our venue. 

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Education in general brewing knowledge and specific Slipstream Brewing information and beers
  • Manage off-site events and festivals, including transporting beer, setup & break down of site & clean pouring station.
  • Pour beer tastings while engaging and educating consumers at events
  • Understand & be able to answer questions about general beer knowledge, Slipstream products and the company itself
  • Represent the brand and engage with our local community, e.g., at sponsored local events or with local clubs
  • Conducting tasting sessions at retail outlets
  • Provide tours and tastings at our venue 
  • Engage with customers at our venue ensuring a great customer experience 
  • Assist with activation of on-site events at the venue
  • Be active within our hospitality space and play a supportive role to our wholesale sales team
  • Work Front of House shifts as required on a roster

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be flexible to work Thursday thru to Sunday, as this position will mainly work weekends and evenings
  • Be enthusiastic, engaging & brand savvy – with a love to talk about all things beer
  • Ability to promote the Slipstream brand professionally, be personable & knowledgeable
  • Practical with a hands-on “can do” attitude
  • Highly organised & diligent with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and self-manage
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills
  • Experience working Front of House in a hospitality venue – experience as a duty manager will be highly regarded
  • Drivers Licence
  • RSA
  • Prior experience driving a trailer attachment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to lift & move kegs of beer

This role would suit someone with a hospitality background who has a great passion for beer and is looking for a change. We are looking for a candidate who has the potential to grow within our business.   

This is a part-time position that is available immediately. The position can be a three day or four-day role, dependent on the right candidate. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
