From their home in Canberra, Capital Brewing have have a team of 60 working across the business and they remain a close-knit team. 

To help keep that business culture running smoothly, they're looking to hire a people and culture manager.


Job Description: People & Culture Manager

Capital Brewing Co is one of Australia’s fastest-growing craft breweries and has been making award-winning Good Natured Brews from our Canberra brewery and taproom since mid-2017. We are dedicated to making good beer, being good to nature, and good for our community. Awarded Best Brewery Experience in Australia, our Taproom is the beating heart of our brand. We all love what we do, work hard, have a great deal of fun doing it.

The People and Culture role at Capital Brewing Co is all about ensuring that staff culture at Capital Brewing Co is always top of mind and that Capital Brewing Co team administration is frictionless and well functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and oversight Capital Brewing Co’s ELMO human resources platform
  • Employee related administration (eg. equipment management, contract development and Job description development)
  • Oversight of key managers performance management and development planning schedule
  • Assisting key managers with team job design to improve skill variety, motivation and engagement
  • Assisting Key Managers with administration of recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Reporting of team analytics to the company Managing Directors 
  • Internal Staff Communications

About You

You are ready for the next step in your career, you’ve got incredible organisational skills that you’re keen to bring into a fast-growing company. You love working with people and recognise that a well connected and passionate team is key to organisational success. You are looking for full-time work starting from May 2022. You live in Canberra or Sydney and are looking for a  flexible working arrangement where you will work two days from our Canberra or Sydney office and three days from home.
