Job Description: Technical Sales Manager
At Ellerslie Australia we have been providing ingredients to the Australian brewing industry for over 85 years. As well as being Australia’s largest independent hop grower, we have continuously expanded our offering by teaming up with quality ingredient producers including Hopsteiner hops, Coopers malt and Lallemand yeast.
To further support our Queensland customers, we are on the hunt for a passionate and driven beer enthusiast to join the team in a Technical Sales role. Based out of South East Queensland, this role will see the successful candidate travelling around the state visiting customers and attending industry functions and events. When not on the road, they will be carrying out administrative duties from their home-based office.
What does the role entail?
Ellerslie provides solutions to customers through sales and product support. This role involves;
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships
- Promoting Ellerslie's products to new and existing breweries
- Working with customers to provide them with solutions
- Providing technical support with the assistance of internal and external stakeholders
What do we require from you?
- A passion for beer
- Excellent communication skills as well as the ability to maintain effective working relationships
- A desire to help people
- The ability to work autonomously and maintain self-motivation
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A reliable car and valid driver’s licence
- Preference will be given to applicants with experience in brewing/beverage fermentation and/or B2B sales experience
