We are currently seeking applicants for a new role at our Port Melbourne Brewery. The forklift operator role will be responsible for loading and unloading inbound and outbound truck as well as some day to day warehouse work. The role is 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities include:
- Forklift operations including high reach
- Loading / unloading containers and trailers following load restraint and manual handling guidelines
- Prioritise workloads and tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data systems and completing all necessary paperwork
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained free of hazards and risks
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and yard
- Accountable for incoming and outgoing freight storage and its integrity
- Adhere to all health and safety processes and procedures
- Applicants must be willing to learn new skills, expand on existing knowledge and work within a team environment
Education:
- Forklift license mandatory
- Manual Driver’s license mandatory
- Previous warehouse experience is highly regarded
