Marketing Manager at Young Henrys

Posted December 3, 2015

This posting is more than 1 year old

In a few short years Young Henrys has become a household name in Sydney’s Inner West, as much for being awesome people, loving their community and having a lot of fun as for the beer they make. Now they’re after someone to take care of their marketing and ensure the good times keep rolling.

Being one of most collaboration-friendly brewers in the country, you’ll have some pretty cool ideas to play with as you team up with major bands, motorcycle riders, beard growers, fruit growers, eco-warriors, fashionistas, foodies, DJs, drama queens, drag queens, poets, artists, distillers, bakers, bowlers and plenty more.

To work in such fine company, read on…

MARKETING MANAGER – YOUNG HENRYS

Young Henrys Brewery is seeking a Marketing Manager to join its tight knit team. We are a brewery that prides itself on engagement with the community and involvement with music, arts and culture. The challenge in this role is to further share the Young Henrys' love across the country.

The right person will be very organized with a high level of attention to detail, and will help develop and activate a strategic marketing plan and budget via events, social media, PR and merchandise, ideally making both creative and tactical decisions. The role is very hands on and will involve travel, face-to-face customer contact and management of people.

We are seeking someone with experience in the above fields that has a strong desire to contribute to the success of our growing business.

We see all our people as ambassadors of Young Henrys and you will work with the founders of the company, office bods, purveyors of booze, and brew crew to deliver and track a return on investment across all functions.

We have our own way of doing things and this role will require the guardianship of the Young Henrys culture to ensure it’s upheld and reflected across the brewery and it’s activities.

Required Qualities:

  • A minimum of 5 years commercial experience.
  • A track record of planning, scheduling and execution
  • A communicator
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Experience in tracking and analysing the success of campaigns, events and activities.
  • A love of great beer, gin, food and music
  • Flexibility and a ‘get the job done’ mindset.
  • A strong desire to represent Young Henrys at functions and events.

Young Henrys is a proudly equal opportunity employer.
