Then Stone & Wood wants to hear from you as the Byron Bay brewery is after someone to join them on a 12 month contract, touring the country, planning, setting up and running events.
JOB DESCRIPTION: EVENTS GURU
After humble beginnings in 2008, our range of beers, led by our flagship Pacific Ale, have gained the attention of drinkers from one end of the country to the other, and have helped ignite a keen interest for independently owned Australian beer.
We are on the search for a gun that knows how to make things happen and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. Working with the Creative and Community team, you'll be responsible for making each Stone & Wood event as epic as it can possibly be.
From the planning, the logistics, knowing where the equipment/props are and need to be, to the actual execution of our local/ interstate events and the evaluation; you'll be across it, and in amongst it to make sure it happens right.
Being organised, resourceful, a team player, a good communicator and embodying what Stone & Wood is all about is a given.
You'll be based out of the Byron brewery, but jumping on planes and driving across the border will be a part of the gig - as will irregular hours, nights and weekends.
To be considered for the role you will need:
- 3 years (min) experience in event management
- Experience in the beer/liquor industry
- RSA certificate in multi states
- Attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritise and multi-task
- Team player
- Good communicator
- Manual driver’s license
- Craft beer enthusiast
This will be a full time 12-month maternity contract starting in February.
