JOB DESCRIPTION: MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Based in Mornington, Mornington Peninsula Brewery is recognised as one Australia’s top craft breweries. As we continue to expand both nationally and internationally we are looking to employ a full-time Marketing & Communications Manager to drive further opportunities.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy and plan.
- Grow our social media profile through all platforms and implementing new social media campaigns.
- Create and maintain a YouTube site, adding/editing video on a regular basis.
- Manage and update our website.
- Organise events – both externally and at our Brewery Bar.
- Expand our PR. Creating strong key contacts.
- Create a Photo Library of brand visuals.
- Manage DM campaigns and our customer database including the Brew Crew.
- Prepare reports from website, social media and digital advertising campaigns
- Research, monitor, analyse and report on market trends, studying competitors' products and offerings.
- Identify target markets and develop strategies to communicate with them.
- Develop graphics and design marketing materials as required.
Qualifications and experience required
To be a successful applicant, you need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or Business, and/or experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
- Strong experience in social media and web publishing.
- PR and Event Management knowledge.
- Experience working with databases
- To be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal;
- Strong organisational skills and careful attention to detail;
Preferred / desirable skills:
- Knowledge of Video production and editing
- Photographic skills using DSLR camera.
The role reports to the managing director. Salary package will be tailored to fit successful applicant.
