4 Pines is a family owned brewery / hospitality operation with its HQ on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and facilities in both Manly and Brookvale.

We pride ourselves on our handcrafted award winning beer producing and delivering 30-40 unique styles of beer per year with national distribution plus a nationally recognised and awarded hospitality operation.

Due to growth and expansion, we have two brand new job opportunities in our close-knit team:

BEER LOVER (Sales Representative)

4 Pines is seeking a Beer Lover (Sales Rep) who wants to make their mark in a new territory! The role requires a highly motivated, vibrant, results-driven individual with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience who is ready to take on a key role representing 4 Pines in a sales territory covering the Inner West and West of Sydney.

Being a small and growing business, we’re look for somebody who demonstrates the 4 Pines brand values and has a passion for great craft beers. On top of this, the successful candidate will ideally have experience spanning both the on-premise and off-premise channels. The territory that we are looking to recruit for is a difficult one as it encompasses many suburbs with a base of consumer that are just commencing their craft beer journey. This makes the sales role challenging and will require someone with experience in the defined territory and a great deal of tenacity.

Relevant Experience & Attributes

• Sales experience in the liquor industry

Key role tasks

• Minimum number of daily sales calls
• Achieve sales targets & distribution KPI’s
• Maintain territory database
• Conduct weekly in-store tastings
• Beer Festivals & Events as required
• Raise brand awareness of 4 Pines within the territory

PRODUCTION/BREWERY MANAGER POSITION

Good news beer lovers. Australia’s appreciation for great craft beer is catching on in a big way, and our team at 4 Pines is searching for somebody with the right skills, attitude, passion and desire to come help us feed the thirst.

With expansions underway at our Brookvale Brewery throughout 2014, we’re offering the opportunity for an experienced industry member to join us in a senior role as part of our Brewing Team. The nature of this role is not clearly defined. We’d prefer for candidates to let us know exactly what they will bring to the table as an experienced team member, and how their skills can benefit 4 Pines in its continuing quest for improvements to quality, customer service and innovation.

Highly sought-after attributes would include:

• 5 or more years’ experience in brewing or relevant industry
• Brewing qualifications. Diploma level or higher.
• Flexible and versatile enough to deal with continual change.
• Comfort in managing supplier relationships.

Demonstrated strengths in one (preferably a few) of the following fields:

• Brewery Management
• Brewery Efficiency Improvements
• Brewery and Utilities Maintenance
• Quality Control
• Project Management
