JOB DESCRIPTION: HEAD BREWER - MELBOURNE

We’re seeking a suitable person to fill the position of Head Brewer. The position is based in Richmond, Melbourne, where Mountain Goat’s heart and soul resides. It’s here you’ll lead the production of our core range and development of our Rare Breeds, Barrel Breeds and future permanent brews.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the tight-knit brewing team
- Setting weekly production schedules
- Maintaining quality parameters across a wide range of beer styles
- Developing new beers to supply our brewery bar and beyond
You’ll need:
- Several years in a leadership role within a commercial brewery
- Proven sensory skills
- A passion for craft beer and the craft beer community
- Tertiary qualifications in brewing and/or related industry
