Music Loving Sales Rep Wanted To Join The Otherside

Good music, good beer and good times are a natural fit for each other, so when WA based festival promoters Sunset Events realised they wanted to bottle the festival atmosphere, Otherside Brewing was born. If your two loves in life are quality music and good brews, then you might be the perfect person to make the leap to the Otherside.

JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES REP - WA

Otherside started off as a proposition at a music festival: “Imagine if it was possible to capture this feeling in a beer?”

Job Description:

This is a full-time salaried role. As our Brewery Representative, your key objectives would be to drive sales and market our beers throughout Perth and regional WA.

Other duties include in-store tastings, organising events and venue activations, occasional deliveries and lots of festivals (both music and beer).

Who you are:

We are looking for someone passionate about beer, with the communication skills required to shove that passion in people’s faces, in an inclusive and approachable way. Someone who knows how to work hard, and how to kick back and relax – and who knows when it is time to change gears between the two.

You should be organised and self-motivated, show canny initiative and be able to work independently. We need someone who we can trust to use their time efficiently – a balancing act between nurturing existing relationships and developing their own leads.

You also gotta be rad. We are a tight-knit team, and we have some big weekends around festivals and the like. We want someone who has a good sense of humour and good taste in music (with music being a core brand pillar), who is friendly and confident. You need to be the kind of person we want to have a beer with after work!

You should be ambitious. We are growing, and quickly, and the right candidate could see their role within the company expand greatly over the coming years.

A driver’s license is a must, as is the ability to load kegs and pack away the odd trestle table.

Industry and/or sales experience will be looked upon very favourably.

Email your applications to beer@othersidebrewing.com.au

Applications close at 5pm (WA time) on Wednesday, 30 November 2016.
