The arrival of Hawkers on the Australian beer scene has been something of a revelation. Since the Reservoir brewery launched its first beer in February 2015, it has grown rapidly, won awards and recently launched a second label of session beers, Rover.

JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWER – MELBOURNE
Hawkers Beer is growing fast and is seeking a full time brewer to join the team at our expanding Reservoir brewery. There we brew a wide range of award-winning beers, including the Hawkers core range – Pale Ale, IPA, Pilsner, Saison – plus limited releases and newly launched session beers under the Rover brand.
We are developing a large barrel program and also brew and package beers for a number of other Australian brewing companies.
The role is full time and the successful applicant will need the experience to hit the ground running and the flexibility to manage changing shifts and tight deadlines.
You'll have the independence, problem solving skills, multi-tasking ability and mechanical knowledge required to keep the brewery purring, while keeping a keen eye on quality parameters. You'll be an all-rounder with commercial brewing experience in wort production, filtration and packaging, or will hold a brewing-related qualification.
