JOB DESCRIPTION: CRAFT BEER EVANGELIST (SYDNEY)

Continued growth has resulted in Wayward needing a third sales rep as we expand to national distribution. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be one of the first employees in a venture that has aspirations to be a global boutique beer brand synonymous with quality, creativity and integrity. If you are as passionate about beer as we are and you can sell our craft beer vision to customers then you might just be the Wayward person we're looking for.

Wayward prides itself on crafting beers that are both innovative and approachable, we're is not afraid to venture off the beaten path, take risks and embrace our Wayward side. Our solid existing portfolio is multi-award winning and continues to expand with regular seasonal releases. 

The job is to help grow Wayward into one of Australia's leading beer brands. You'll do it the hard way, by winning over one customer at a time with your passion while keeping your existing customers delighted with great customer service. The role will entail working closely with Sydney accounts both on and off premise accounts to obtain sales, secure new business accounts and service the needs of existing sales accounts within an assigned territory. You'll also represent Wayward at events and generally be a very visible market ambassador for the Wayward brand.

Duties include:

• Building relationships in the on and off-premise trade
• Sales results for keg and packaged products
• Brand building and representation
• Perform merchandising activities in accounts
• Weekly in store tastings
• Signage placement and point of sale
• Promotion and activities to promote Wayward
• Sales administration and account management
• Working festivals and events

Role Requirements:

• A passion for craft beer and good beer knowledge
• Proven track record in a sales role (FMCG preferred)
• Experience in the alcohol industry would be highly regarded
• Permanent Resident (please do not otherwise apply)
• Very good communication and time-management skills
• Highly organised and self motivated
• Current Driver's Licence and Current RSA (must accompany CV)
• Understanding that this is not a 9-5 role and willingness to work when/as needed to achieve the outcomes including nights/weekends
