Almost a decade on from launching in a backyard shed in Melbourne's northern suburbs, Kooinda is set to launch a new range in cans as it brings production back in-house. They're after a Melbourne based sales rep to help get their beers into drinkers' hands.

JOB: MELBOURNE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (FULL-TIME) – KOOINDA BREWING COMPANY

It’s nearly 10 years since Kooinda launched it’s first batch from a humble backyard shed in Melbourne's outer suburbs. In that time the brewery has gone from hand capping it’s way to multiple awards, to a full scale production facility in Heidelberg West.

Building on the success of last year’s branding update we’re launching our beers into cans and bringing the entire production back in house. We’re looking for a Melbourne based sales rep to help get our cracking tinnies out there. This integral role allows for professional growth and, importantly, input in shaping the future of Kooinda. We’re looking for the right person to make a positive and lasting impression on the brewery.

We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude to join our young team and growing business. Ideally, you’ll have experience in craft beer sales with strong customer relations that you can leverage to make an immediate impact.

If you don’t have experience in the craft industry but have a background in sales and have a proven track record of being well organised, pro-active, a good negotiator and are excited about beer we would also like to hear from you. You’ll be expected to generate new and follow up on existing leads, maintain accurate sales data and forecasting, as well as managing wholesale accounts.

There will be a lot of fun to be had, working with our events coordinator organising beer tastings, tap takeovers, festivals and more!

IN SHORT, YOU WILL

  • Be an ambassador for our brand
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new ones
  • Meet monthly sales targets and KPIs
  • Frequently correspond with all accounts
  • Make daily sales calls/visits to venues and stores
  • Organise in-store tastings with our Events Coordinator
  • Organise merchandising and point of sale displays
  • Attend events and festivals which may occasionally involve after hours work
  • Identify realistic opportunities to increase sales
  • Be a permanent resident (sorry, no holiday/working visas will be considered)
  • Grow our brand awareness by enjoying your work!

BONUS POINTS

  • You have experience in CRM software and Office / Excel
  • You have your RSA
  • You love hoppy beers
