Barrow Boys, the gypsy brewing operation that launched with an amber lager back in 2014, has been releasing unconventional seasonal beers and collaborations alongside its core range ever since. The team is looking for a spruiker to join its ranks and help get those beers into more places around Melbourne.

JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES REP
Barrow Boys Brewing Co is a Melbourne-based independent brewing company, owned and operated by people who love great beer. At Barrow Boys we roll up our sleeves, do everything you can possibly imagine and do so in a fun and positive manner. We're looking for a good person to join Dean and Rob as we continue to grow in Melbourne and beyond.
The Role
We’re looking for an additional spruiker who will be responsible for both retail and on-premise accounts within some geographical areas in and around Melbourne. The role will involve building our brand and business through our existing customers as well as generating additional sales through new businesses opportunities.
We’re big on teamwork, events, sampling, festivals and staff training so these activities also form a big part of the role.
If you’re experienced in selling beer or just love great beer and have experience in sales, and you possess skills & qualities like the ones listed below, we’d love to hear from you.
- A friendly personality with a positive outlook is vital.
- Self-motivated and driven, to achieve personal and team goals.
- Solid networking skills. Holding existing connections in the liquor industry would be advantageous.
- A passion for products you believe in.
- Experience selling into businesses and supporting sales through our customer’s venues.
- Strong communication and record keeping skills.
- Has a car, a current drivers licence and a Victorian RSA certificate.
