Much like our local craft beer industry, the number of Australian distillers continues to grow. Among the biggest success stories of the recent craft spirits boom is STARWARD, which can easily be found in good bars and bottleshops across the country.

JOB DESCRIPTION: DISTILLER
STARWARD is looking for a new distiller to join our team at our Port Melbourne distillery. Our small but growing team is passionate about what they do and take pride in the innovative approach we take to all aspects of our business. We have embarked on a rapid growth trajectory, which will see a significant increase in our production capacity, and our sales throughout Australia and into international markets.
Work will be based in production, covering all aspects of whisky production, including brewing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, warehousing and packaging. Other areas of focus will include project based work such as continuous improvement, quality and NPD.
The following attributes are desirable:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Food, Beverage or FMCG production or packaging role
- Relevant training (IBD or equivalent)
- Forklift licence
- Familiar with safe work practices
- Familiar with quality management and food safety
You must be able to work on a 5 day roster with morning and afternoon shifts. Weekend cover may be required.
