Tasmania's Bruny Island is famed for both its stunning landscapes and the produce made there. Among those producers is Bruny Island Beer, which brews unique beers making full use of local ingredients.

The small team running the brewery is looking to hire a production brewer to help meet demand.

JOB DESCRIPTION: PRODUCTION BREWER

Bruny Island Beer Company is seeking an experienced brewer to join our small but passionate team on a full-time basis. Since 2016 we have been making beers designed primarily to express the distinctive regional character of the ingredients that we source from Tasmania and Bruny Island.

We are part of a larger company, Bruny Island Cheese Co., that has been making award winning cheeses on the same site as the brewery since 2003. We now also run our own dairy farm.

This job represents an opportunity to be involved in all aspects of small-scale brewing – from recipe development to wort production, packaging, event work and more. Reporting to the Head Brewer, the successful candidate will take a leading role in our small production team.
