Capital Brewing is one of a growing number of breweries to call Canberra home and has turned its Fyshwick brewery into a much-loved place for locals and tourists.

The brewery is also connected to Batlow Cider and both companies are looking for a new sales rep in Sydney.

Job Description: Sales Representative – Sydney

By producing locally and using sustainable production practices we believe that enjoying a few brews can be good for the environment and the community.

Batlow Cider Co is one of Australia’s leading independent craft cider producers. Established in 2011, the business distributes a range of premium cider products to both off and on premise customers around Australia and internationally.

The Position  

We are looking for a Sales Representative to manage a sales territory in Sydney, Wollongong and some of regional NSW. You will be a part of our team of passionate sales people helping to develop and deliver on key sales strategies within your territory.

Working as part of our sales team and closely with the managing directors and Head of National Sales, you will manage and grow your customer base and driving in venue activations. Your customer base will include customers across both the on and off premise channels growing our footprint & bringing more Capital brews & Batlow Cider to the people.

The role will be based in Sydney and surrounding regions with travel a regular part of the role.

Key duties include

  • Provide legendary service to Capital Brewing Co & Batlow Cider customers
  • Execution of key national strategies
  • Servicing our existing customer base
  • Identify new opportunities
  • Setting objectives for each sales call
  • Event planning and coordination
  • In store tastings & activations
  • Represent Capital Brewing Co & Batlow Cider at industry and consumer events 

About You 

The successful applicant will be:

  • Highly driven and self-motivated
  • Well organized, planned & highly skilled at prioritizing tasks
  • A passion for craft beer and cider
  • Ability to innovate and effectively communicate ideas
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to business development
  • Have a persuasive and credible presentation style
  • High Level computer and organizational skills
  • At least two years of experience in the liquor industry in a sales position
