Barossa Valley Brewing has been making beer in the heart of one of Australia's best known wine regions for years and is looking to hire a senior brewer and an apprentice brewer who will also work as a brand ambassador.

JOB DESCRIPTION: BREWERS & BEER AMBASSADOR
Barossa Valley Brewing is looking for enthusiastic lovers of craft beer to join their team. Our well-established brewery has been operating since 2005 and is busy with new and exciting expansion plans both in Australia and Asia.
New plans involve a strong focus on development of experimental one-off specialty beers , growing our core range and expanding exports. BVB is also committed to partnering with passionate gypsy brewers to help grow the countries amazing craft beer community. The two positions we looking to fill are.
Senior Brewer
The successful candidate would have:
- At least three years relative experience in a commercial brewery
- Be highly organised and proficient in planning
- Maintain accurate and thorough brewing records.
- Have experience with experimental recipe development
- Have good communication skills
- A recognised brewing qualification is desirable but not necessary.
The role may require travel overseas. Experience with purchase and commission of a new brewery would be desirable. This is the perfect role/opportunity for Gypsy brewers keen to find a home to produce high quality beers.
Apprentice Brewer/Beer Ambassador:
The perfect entry into this amazing industry. The role would incorporate a significant learning component as you learn to brew the highest quality craft beer. Part of the role would involve supporting sales efforts of BVB beers around Australia. The successful applicant would have
- A high level of passion for craft beer
- Have a thirst for knowledge and willingness to learn
- Be active and adept at social media
- Willing to work hard
